Hi

I need info on the following and would be thankful for some help:

I have an Output Journal for posting of a manufactured item. Previously no dimension was being used on Prod. Orders. Now I have made dimension mandatory for a G/L account being affected. For all previous posted Prod. Orders and their corresponding consumption and output journal, no dimension has been attached.

I want to know how i can correct these Prod. orders and their resp. entries so that the dimension can be attached to them.

Thank you.

    Well,
to a navigate on them, and it'll show you the entry tables where you should add the dimensions too (I guess: Production Order, Item ledger entry, value entry and capacity ledger entry). You'll have to write some INSERTs to insert the dimension records in the right tables.

The dimensions on Ledger entry tables are located in the "ledger entry dimension" table. For production document table, it's located in "Production Document Dimension" table.

    Good luck!

I'm curios when adjust cost is run for a an output journal, and an adjust needs to be made to the output, where the dimension come from for the adjustment value entry.
