Hello,
I just passed the Dev I exam today, which is great and all but... I was looking at the ms website, for some information about the certificate etc and wasn't able to find anything useful. Even worse, according to this page: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/sylla ... l.mspx#ELC there isn't even a certificate available?
Might just be looking in the wrong place...

No, you get a certificate for passing the exam. You're now "Certified Specialist". Whatever that means...Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

That's a bit disappointing, I was hoping on a title with a bit more prestige.
... Nah, just kidding, "Certified Specialist" will do.0 -
Or you can keep continue your testing and get the "Certified Professional" title.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Congratulations CenT, on to the DEV II exam, and maybe even a master certification.
It takes a while, but at some point they should send you a paper copy of your certification. In the mean time, you should have gotten a piece of paper from the exam place that states that you passed as proof of your accomplishment.0 -
Indeed I did receive a paper stating I passed the exam. I heard DEV II is alot more difficult though. I took the class on DEV II a few weeks ago and it was all obvious in class, which doesn't mean it still is now :roll:0

Only people who didn't pass that exam will say that
If it made sense in the class, it will be ok for the exam. Do try to find a document with the NAV development methodology and learn about the phases and roles and document deliverables, that'll get you a few questions.0 -
Ok, If I'm not mistaken, the syllabus from dev I has a whole chapter covering Development Methodology? Thanks for the feedback.0

I thought Dev II exam was easier than Dev I exam.
Dev I exam covers terminology, which was a pain in the butt to memorize.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
