There is no BA Advanced for SP3. There is just the Configurator for BA Basic. And it is part of the install cd. BA Advanced for MS SQL 2005 will be released as part of NAV 5.0.0

Sorry, me again..
From partnersource I've downloaded SP3 for Switzerland, (complete 2 ISO-Files) but Business Analytics seems not to be in the files. Any ideas? In what directory should the files reside?
Anyway, I've also downloaded a file named BA_DECH_Nav 4.0.exe. It contains quite old FOBs and also the installer for BA. I guess this is the file for SP0. Is there a localized file for SP3 arround. Every time I start searching in partnersource I get some shivers because it is such a pain ](*,)
Actually I'm not sure what is the correct way the get the latest fobs and the latest exes.
Thanks in advance

The configurator is in the Additional Interfaces folder.0
-
Thanks for the info. I've found it in the "additional interfaces" folder.
Let me ask the question sligthly different:
How to install Business Analytics Basic and Advance from the SP3 CD?
Thanks again.

1) There is no BA Advance on SP3 CD!
2) Basic: Just copy the correct folder to the local disc and in Nav select the correct path to the configurator.0 -
@Kine: Thanks a lot. In the meantime, I found a very helpful Technical White Paper on partnersource. The installation for SP3 is described there in detail.
One last question: Is there a description arround how to install BA (basic and advanced) for SP2? Actually the challange is not how to install, but rather taking the install files from where #-o
Thanks again.

For SP2 (if you want to use just MS SQL 2000 you can use BA Advance for SP3 too) there is separate install cd which you can download from PartnerSource (Microsoft Business Analytics for Navision).0
-
OK, I have found the file "BA_DECH_Nav 4.0.exe".
This seems to be a SP0 thing, so I guess there is no newer file for this.
Cheers

Yes, the version of BA Advance is still same. There are just changes in the configurator.exe and in some objects in DB.0
-
Sorry to ask again:
So this means for SP2 I can use BA_DECH_Nav 4.0.exe (this includes FOBs, Configurator, BA Advanced) just as it is, but without the FOBs?
Thanks again

The fobs included on the install cd are for Nav 4.00. If you have newer objects in your DB, you do not need to import them. Just compare the version list and date and time on the objects.0
