Hi all,
I am trying to setup capacities and routings for a beverage industry but currently am facing the following problem.
In real situation a beverage filler has 40 nozzles and it takes let's say 10 seconds to fill a bottle. During this time it is also filling the rest of the 39 bottles with let's say 0.5 sec gap between one bottle and the next. When the first bottle is complete, it takes the 41'st bottle and so on....
Can anyone be gentle enough to suggest how to set-up a machine centre / routing entry for this type of operation :-k ; ie Setup time, Run Time, Wait time and Concurrent capacities.
Thanks a lot for your help

Hi Apickard
in your case the set up time will be once like (ex:- if i have diffrent types of bottle configuration like 2leters 1leters etc in this case say i have 100 bottels of 2 leaters and 200 bottels of 1 leaters when i compleate 2 leaters bottels and i should start 1 leater botel at this time the configuration will chainges like dye size etc in this point the set up time will counts ) and
run time is 10 sec
move time is 0.5 sec
and concurent capacities (it's depend's like say my m/c or man power is producing 100 leters per hour in this case if i have other sub m/c to main m/c the work will be shared in this case in 30 minits i can get 100 leters )
in concurent capacitys i can declare as 2 for 30 min. as per above example
if i declare 1 it will be treated as 1 hr as per above senario
regards
