Profit and loss report of G\L accounts

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a standard report which displays the profits and losses of my G\L accounts. This for year balance purposes.
And if there is no such report can someone tell me why it isn't a standard report in navision. Many times has this question been asked to me and I still don't have an answer for it. Can someone please help me out? :?

Well, how should Navision know which accounts to add and which other accounts to substract from them? Clearly it needs to be configurable. Now, a report when you can configure which G/L accounts to add and which others to subtract is an Account Schedule - so just use that feature.

Hi JBeck,

All you need to do is create a total account and have it total up all of your Income Statement accounts. This way, you'll get the current profit/loss for the current year.

Do not forget to select the "Net Change" in coloum layout for P&L and Balance at date if making Balance Sheet.
