What do you mean when you are talking about mobile Terminals?
I actually have done a Java J2ME BlackBerry solution for my company in order to generate sales orders from a BlackBerry device and also I am just now involved in the developing of a Pocket PC application in order to complete the Inventory count journals just in a PDA.
are these type of solutions what are you asking for?
If yes I will be very happy to give you advices from my experience with these type of projects.
I havent used Enterprise Portal in Axapta so I dont know, but I have to say that with Business Connector you can access all the Axapta functionality from .NET Classes so for example you can develop .NET web services accessed by windows mobile applications.
The bad news is that with bussiness connector you need to buy additional COM CLients to your license.
Hi, thanks for the replies... Microsoft responded with
At this time there is no out-of-the box functionality in Dynamics AX4.0.
Currently Enterprise Portal only supports Sharepoint 2.0 and Sharepoint 2.0 is not suited for small devices.
Sharepoint 3.0 is only planned for AX 4.01 and AX4.1
However, there are two things that you can do.
1. Create own .net PDA application using Visual Studio which has a very good integration with the mobile platforms.
2. This together with the extra .net layer on top of the existing Business connector should allow you too create the best interface for such devices.
These are different versions of Axapta, AX4.01 is Axapta 4.0 with SP1 and AX4.1 is a future version.
I have just verified that Sharepoint 3.0 is supported for Ax4.01 but not for AX4.0

By Mobile Terminals i mean accessing either a Enterprise Portal Mobile Addition or a App that can be installed on Windows Mobile phones.
They need full access to AX.
Does this make sense?
