Navision Application Server problem

We are running a NAS on a 3.60 native Database.

The functions that the NAS executes are totally user specific and custom made.
The scheduling of these tasks are done by two timer automation variables which run in the same codeunit (single instance). The schedule they run on are independent from each other.

The NAS also imports xml files.

Now the processing is done without problem. We can run through multiple sequences but when I want to stop the NAS service. It won't stop and I have to use the 'End Process' button in the taskmanager to kill the nas.exe.

Error in the Event Viewer is:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Application Popup
Event Category: None
Event ID: 26
Date: 30/06/2003
Time: 10:25:37
User: N/A
Computer: NAVISION2
Description:
Application popup: nas.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x004a2bcc" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Does anybody have a clue why the NAS cannot be terminated from the MMC window?

Greetings
