Basic Supply Planning (5810) needed ?

(first 6 months NAV Dev :-s )

I am confused about the actual function of the granule 5810 ?! When I read the Pricelist explanation, it does not make a lot of sense.

Can someone explaine to me wat the exact functionality is of this granule ? #-o

I have expirimented with the BRL security tool to simulate only the BRL AM to see what functionality is missing. I found the production menu item planning worksheet to be missing, is this the only functionality included in the 5810 ?

Our client does nothing with production and only needs an automated gathering of what needs to be ordered in order to create the Purchase orders. So the Order Planning form is enough.

I read the help screens, but that only explaines how the screen works and not for what functionality I am going to need it ?

The granule 5810 is very expensive, so I realy have to make sure if we would need it or not ! I think not, but need some verification from the experts on this forum 8-[ .
