Hi All,
I am receiving following dialog window while installing the sharepoint services
==
Setup has detected that your default virtual server is running Frontpage 2002 Server Extensions. To continue Setup and upgrade your default virtual server later, click OK. To exit setup and move data from your default virtual server click Cancel. For more information about moving data from FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions, see the Administrator’s Guide for Window Sharepoint Services.

Setup Errors
There are errors in Windows SharePoint Services setup.
Extend Virtual Server : Windows SharePoint Services has detected that this virtual server is running SharePoint Team Services or FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions. To extend this virtual server with Windows SharePoint Services, you must move the site content to a different virtual server, and then remove SharePoint Team Services or FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions from this virtual server. For more information about moving data from SharePoint Team Services or FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions, see the Administrator's Guide for Windows SharePoint Services.

Has anyone faced the similar situation?0 -
Hi,
Two things you should do before installing WSS:
1. Remove FP extensions from the website you want to install WSS/SPS on.
2. By preference, don't install it on the default website, but create a new website on which you install WSS/SPS.
You will see: installing SPS is a piece of cake.BR,
