Deleting Global Dimensions

We have had global dim 1 & 2 set for 4 years and I'd like to delete them all. We simply don't use them as I thought we would way back when. And since it eating space I'd like to kill them.

Is simply changing them back to "Blank" enuf to get the job done.
And any estimate on time that it would take would be nice.

(We're problably talking about getting rid of 30 million records)

Under general ledger function menu button, you should see the option to change them to blank. This step will remove them from all the tables.
This step will take a long time. I would run the client on server.
This will take a couple of hours.

The next step would be to delete the following tables. a couple of hours.

You have rebuild the analysis views if you are setup any dimension.
