Need help in inventory 2006

After finishing my inventory 2006, I received new material that I must insert in General Leger with posting date = 31/12/2006. Is there any way to do it without having to redo all the inventory?

You can post the transaction on 31/12/2006. But it can create some costing issue.

Which method of costing are u using.
