Import of invoices from other database

Our firm is a container terminal and we have recently implemented Navision for our Finance department.
We would like to start with a billing project while the calculation of our invoices is pretty comlex and we are currently using an excelfile where a lot of manual adaptation is neccesary. We are growing very rapidely and this system of billing manually isn't working in time anymore.
So we have an oracle database in which every detailed handling service that has to be invoiced is stored. We would like to automate the invoicing of these handling services by importing the data from these database in Navision.
Can anyone tell me were I can find some information about how Navision handles a complex pricelist, how we best import the data ( by using XMLports or datports or something else....) and if it is possible in navision to make summary invoice per vessel with only the different handling types mentioned and where you then can drill down to detailed handlings per container.
