when running a report, is it possible to set a value for a particular field in a dataitem??

if yes, how

view the proprties of the dataitem

go to dataitemview and set your choice.
but this makes it permanent.

NOTE: that you can do this when running the report on the tab too by simply adding the fields & filters you want.

yes.. zat would be permanent..
but i want to allow the user to change the value, if he want to do so before running the report..
