opening stock creation serial no , Lot no

Can any one guide me how i should create an opening stock table along with serial no , lot no for items . the same data is to be shown to the customer when he uses the SALES Order - > line tracking window and wants to allocate the opening stock. the data has to be transfered from the existing ERP to Navision.

    Dear Friend,

    All the data pertaining to opening stock needs to be uploaded thru item journal. the lines should be created for the different item tracking line wise i.e lot/serial number wise. So as and when you invoice the stock you can pick the correct lot/serial number.

    P.S. In ILE the entries are created Serial/Lot number wise.

    Can you guide me step wise how this can be done . for example

    1.import exel file to item journal line
    2.how to post the same.

    there is a posting button in the bottom. I advice you please learn the functional knowledge of running the system and then proceed.
