We are on Navision Attain 3.01B, on SQL Server 2000.
I try to be prepared for a restauration of our production database (8 GO, 200 user in windows login). So we will work with a complete backup plus tansactions logs. This should run without problem.
But after some testing I wonder what should be the procedure to get all the user connexions in the new database.

I saw that it is necessary to start sql server in single user mode to restore the master database.
Then when restoring the master database in the enterprise manager in the end there is an error because it can't connect to the sql server
I restarted the whole server - allways the same. I can't start sql server. I can't connect to sql server.
I read that the sqlservr command is also to stop the sql server running - perhaps I need to tell him to stop single user mode but I can't see how to do this.
it would be nice to know how to get the connexions only because restoring on a system that has not the same disk structure seems to cause sql not to start again.
Any hints ?
