Performance problem with roles in 4.0 SP2/SP3

We are having performance problems with roles in NAV 4.0 SP2/SP3.

When assigning a role to a user with a companyname limit, the whole system slows down and finally becomes unusable. When removing the companyname-limit everything works all right again.

This occurs with the SUPER role, and only in periods with slightly above normal load on the system.

The problems began after doing a technical upgrade to 4.0 from 3.70. (not objects)

Any ideas?

yes upgrade to 4.0 sp3 client and change the security model to standard. This will use the 3.7 model security. I've recommended this for every client that has problems with synchronization performance.

In sp3 in alter database window they've added a new option in the advanced tab.

Forgot to mention that this is a 60 GB CSIDE database with 85 users.
