Actual vs. Budgeted Value in Business Analytics

Hi there....

Have a small problem.
Have made 2 cubes. I with GL Table entires and 1 with GL Budget table entries. I have then created a virtual cube which is a combination of the above two.
The purpose of this is in BA to compare Budget vs. Acutual figures for Sales, Purchases, expenses, etc i.e. P&L. month on month.
However how does one give a Date (month) filter in BA Advanced client ? If I choose the date measure of the G/L posting date then the budget figures vanish in the column and if I give G/L Budget entry Date, the G/L figures of actual amount column vanishes.
Therefore is there anyway to give a date filter in BA client that applies to both amount columns ?

You need to make sure that both "base" cubes use the same time dimension (see the cube definitions in Business Analytics Setup) - otherwise, cross analysis on measures from different cubes will fail...
