Merging Data Fields From Crm To Excel

Using the Interaction template in Navision 3.60 you can import documents that are to be used, with this in mind I have imported an Excel document that I then want to use to merge customer address details with as is possible with Word, can this be done, I can't see of any way within stan dard Navision.

There is no way in standard NAV. Codeunit 5054 deals with mailmerge, and as you can see, the codeunit is called "Wordmanagement". If you look further, you can see that all functions in the codeunit use wordapp, worddoc, ... wordautomation.
