Opening Stock entries - Using Warehousing

Hi

I need to put my opening stock balances in. If I use a positive item journal it wont effect warehousing so I cant dictate the zone and bin... I cant see anywhere in the warehouse module to help...

Any ideas?

Did you check the 'Use Zones and Bins' checkbox on your locations?

I think You need to post a Warehouse item journal (periodic activities).
This will put the items in the bins you specify and create a contra entry in the adjustment bin.

Then in inventory Item journal run the function Calculate warehouse adjustment. All the adjustment bin entries should appear and you will be able to post them.
