[solved] Restore security system

Hi

What is the best way to restore all information in a fbk file to a non empty test db? Normally I just want the new data, so I delete the company in the test db and restore the fbk. But the security system is not restored, because it is not empty in the test db...

Any suggestions to this?

Security did not restore? It should have. How come you have security in your new database already?

Barring this, I would suggest creating a dataport to export/import the security tables directly.

I have native db. And there are already records in the security tables. I'm looking for a way the restore everything over my test db, without creating a new db.

Yes, you cannot force the backup to restore the data which are already existing in the DB. There is no other way than new DB or dataports.
