AX in specific company

Dear All,
I am studying AX manual file and would like to use it in one of our cosmetics production site but we are not sure if it can't or can. Pls let me know if it can be applied in cosmetics production/manufacturing like producing lipstick, powder and liquid skin care soap. The operations are not complex and the bill of materials are not like discrete BOM it is formulation like phramaceutical. My other questions are as follows:
1. Can AX solve the problem relate to inventory, forecasting and production schedule for purchaing and production order ?
2. Can I use BOM form in AX to create the formulation ?
3. How to calculater run time because every machine will transfer WIP/material using conveyor directly to next machine withou stopping or building WIP ?
4. How to record machine spare part replacement and purchasing cost ?

Hi Andreas,

As far as I am aware, AX cannot suit process industry directly. For Process Industry, there is a Process Mfg and Distribution Industry Vertical built by Fullscope.

You can look into this solution which will enable AX to be implemented in the industries you are referring to.
