Change costing method at specified date

Hello all!!!
I want to change the costing method in all products from FIFO to Average Cost. I have read previous postings about this subject and it's clear to me what to do.
My question is: Can I tell Navision (or my NSC to do that) to recalculate the value entry prices to make the change at a speceified date (year start date)? I do not have the automatic inventory posting turned on, so changes do not affect my general ledger entries. What I want is to have my item movement history valuated at Average cost since last closing date for audit and valuation purpouses.
I have the MBS Dynamics NAV 4.0SP2 version.
