Upgrade Product Group Table

Hallo,

maybe someone can assit my work!?!??!

I want to upgrade the Field "COde" in the Product Group Table from 10 to 30 Strings.

Is there any Posibility to search vor other reference fields in the DB, so that i can upgrade these to.

I think the most developer understand my Problem.

Yes, there is a way: Use the Navision Developers Toolkit

This is one of those things that every NAV developer does one time and then does everything to convinve the customer that it is not necessary.

It is NOT necessary!!!! With 10 characters you have more possibilities then you will ever need. Find a different way to solve the customer's problem. Suggest a different numbering scheme. Add a new field that holds the customer's logic and include it as an alternative search field. Expanding primary key fields in the core application is more trouble than it is worth.
