hi all,
When we delete any purchase or sales order, we would skip the serial no. and the sysytem will give new no. for the next order.
Is there any posibility to reuse the same no. which we have deleted.
what expainantion should be given to the client in such case?

My guess is that you are using numbering series for Serial no. Just like sales order when you delete a SO, you get the next number. I guess you could write a modification that will the deleted serial no to new table and when you create a new Serial no., you could reuse them, but that's just worth it.0

if you check that if the no. series and posted no. series are defined as same then sytems updates the posted documents as deleted document ... hence there wil not be a gap in posted purchase or sales order ... hope this works for an alternative/PDR0

you can wrie a code to modify the last no used in the serial line no. and put this code in the delete event of the purchase header and sales header.
hope this will help youBest Regards
