Navision C5 -> NAV 4.0 SP3

Hi Forum,

i´m going to upgrade from C5 2.1 (native db) to NAV 4.0!
I now try to import all my data from textfiles into NAV 4.0
but i can´t find any import option at all!

May i need some special modules for doing it?

Consider treating this as a new implentation and treat 2.1 as a legacy system.

In Navision to import you have to use dataports.

Indeed.
This is the most stable/prooven way.
If you still want to import history data, do it through general journals and post it again (after setting up NAV).

Or you can use Mapping (form 8601) for using excel templates.
