Employee portal: doubt about executing validates.

hi.
I'm trying to create a web part for quotes/orders, the modify header function for 'sales header' was already made, and the line:

EncodeXML.AddFieldToValidationDoc(XMLDocValField,SalesHeader.FIELDNO("Sell-to Customer No.")

must be the one which launchs the validate process for the 'sell to customer' field.. isn't?

I thing that this validate is the one which copy some customer data to the quote?

If all this is correct I'm loosing something, because these customer data doesn't get copied.

help please.

Solved, with:

  xSalesHeaderTmp.SETVIEW(FilterString);
  xSalesHeaderTmp.FIND('-');
  xSalesHeaderTmp.VALIDATE("Sell-to Customer No.");
  HeadRecordRef.MODIFY(TRUE);
