Installing ODBC on Version 3.6

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to do this? I have installed the driver from the installation CD so that when i go to set up an ODBC i have the C/ODBC option. However i am unable to get the ODBC to work. I am prompted for the database name and in here i have put the location of the fin.exe. However when i click on Company it says i can't connect because the database is in use even though it is not.

Are you connecting the server or the db directly? There should be a setting to change it to a server. So that you can put the server ip address instead of selecting the db.

Server Name: "Your Server Name"
Net Type: TCP

PS The Product CD should have a PDF about C/odbc to help you too.
