Upgrade from 3.60(SQL option) to 4.0SP2 (SQL option)

Hi all

I am planning on an upgrade from 3.60(SQL Server option) to 4.0SP2(SQL Server Option).
Can we do the upgrade by converting the 3.60 database to ".fdb" ,start the upgrade onto 4.0SP2 and then restore the same into SQL Server option database(.mdf) ?
What might be the difference if there are any?

I think that you will lose some time going from SQL to Navision-DB, convert on Navision DB and get back to SQL.
If your 3.60 was on Navision-DB, I would have done the upgrade there and the make a backup and restore it on SQL (actually I did that once). I think this is faster than putting first all on SQL and then do the upgrade there.
