Invalid Use of Null Error 94

Hi - I'm installing a BizTalk/Commerce Gateway/ATAS 3.6 test bed across two servers. I can export out of Attain but when I try to import using a File Receive Function I get the following CommerceGateway error everytime:
Error Code: 94
Error Description: Invalid use of Null.
Has anyone seen and/or gotten past this error?
