Sharepoint webpart and Login Failed to Navision Database

Has anyone else tried delivering Navision data through a webpart in Sharepoint?

I've written a web part to take some data out of Navision and display it on our Sharepoint Intranet by the use of a .NET webpart.

Everything works fine locally (as always), but when I deploy on our network I keep getting this error when trying to connect to the Navision database, its something to do with double hops and authentication between IIS, Sharepoint and SQL Server where it seems Sharepoint loses the credentials.

"Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection"

Reading around I get the impression I need to turn on Kerberos - has anyone had any dealings with this cuz its blowing my brain ](*,) . I realise this is not a specific Navision question but maybe someone out there has been down this path.

Cheers

You probably didn't specify "Mixed Mode authentication" in SQL authentication.
