I would like to merge several Word documents together out of Navision Attain 3.60 (the merge would not necessarily include a merge with data in Navision, but simply merging two or three (or ten) Word documents into one new Document) and then import the new document into Navision.
Maybe the purpose of the module clarifies a little bit more what I want :
My customer wants to generate sales contracts, by making every chapter a separate Word document. In Navision he wants a table in which he defines which chapters are relevant for this specific customer. A button 'create contract' should then combine the documents that are selected into a new document, and import this as a customer specific contract.
The chapters themselves will be available as attachments in Navision in the Interaction Template table.

Frankly, I don't understand what is so difficult about this. Do you have problems with merging Navision data and the Word templates or combining the contract chapters into one document? If styles etc. are used consistently, neither should present you with much of problem, should it?

Example:
Within Navision create a couple of Interaction Templates, each containing another chapter from a document as attachment. (Let's say the document is a sales contract).
Now I define another (new) table in which I want to define per customer which chapters (= Interaction Templates) are relevant for that customer.
Customer No. Include Chapter
10000 CH1
10000 CH2
10000 CH4
10000 CH6
The contract for Customer 10000 should contain (only) chapter 1,2,4 and 6. After having selected these chapters, I want to press a button 'merge', which creates one new document (the final contract), based on the documents in the template table.
How do I do this?
