Business Notification - Error 1309

Hello!

During the installation of Business Notificiation 4.01 I got the following error:

Error 1309.Error reading from file:
installation path....\Template - Purchase order confirmed.xml.
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

Facts:
One Server (SQL+Nav)
SQL 2000
win2003
and the rest of the requirements is already installed (only Notification Manager of the nav installation fails)

Hi SeppMaster,

You would need to copy the BN installer from the CD onto a folder in your hard drive to lessen the directory depth. Running the installation from the CD could sometimes cause the missing file error as the file path text is too long due to the directory structure.

If you still get the same problem with file copy error I strongely suggest you copy the BN Installer form NAV W1 SP3, that is my choice when i was encountered the same probelm with you and the first solution does not work

in the meantime I've tried to solve the problem with the help of Microsoft. Beside the mentioned path-problem there were enough other points. But now it works ;-)
