Navision -> MAPI -> Lotus Notes (send)

Hello all,

i need help with my coding.

my coding creates an email with subject, body, and attachment.
but then lotus notes stops and the code

MAPIMitteilung.Send; (in codeunit 347 Mail)

doesn´t send the email . :?

We will use it to send dozens of Mails at once and cannot accept that
the user must press the send button in lotus notes.
Use of outlook is prohibited.

For fully automated mail it's much easier to use a smtp-tool than to use the (very tricky) mapi interface.
I use commail (Version 1.3 is still freeware), available at:
http://www.xwebware.com/products/commail/

To get it work, I create a textfile and call call commail via smtp.
There are other programs (I rember about an smtp ocx but I dont have experience with this)
I used Domino 5 and 6 and all works great.

thanks, it works fine.

i use the smtp.ocx. and we can now send automated emails
with attachment, etc.

we use notes 5
