Subcontracting with WMS shipment

Is it possible to create a warehouse shipment for a subcontracting order instead of a warehouse pick?

Have you had any luck with this? I have an issue that I think an answer to your question might help me with.

I need to have a finished good made by purchasing items from 4 different vendors.

item no. 1 from vendor no. 1 goes to vendor no. 2, vendor number 2 completes item no. 2 and ships to vendor no.3. You get the idea.

Any ideas or luck you had with your previous question is greatly appreciated.

I was working on a new addon with several features for production and wms. After all, we will add this item to our addon. So, I have no regular solution for this issue.
