There's a document on the product CD called w1w1EP.pdf or something like that, which will tell you the basics, how to install and how to set it up. I suggest you read that document, and if you come back with specific questions.

    Hello Denster,

Thanks for ur suggestion. I gone through the help file for employee portal. I have created Sales invoice card similarly like Sales Order card as the example given in the web part request table and it is working fine. But i want to create general journal form to be displayed in web, i dont have an option to create line form only. Is there any method to display general journal form in web?

With the current EP you have three basic form types (list, card and header/lines), for which you have webparts, developed by Microsoft. By setting up your NAV system, you can use these webparts to fill with any table data out of NAV, as long as you keep using those three basic form types.

The list form webpart does not allow you to modify records (at least I don't think so). To have a journal line type form, you would have to develop an additional webpart. How to do this you would have to purchase a book on how to develop Sharepoint webparts, or do research online, or take a class. I do not know right now how you would do this, although I can't imagine it would be too diffucult.

I don't know exactly how the communication between Sharepoint and NAV works, but based on my experience with other communication components in NAV, it only works for the current system, and it is difficult to expand on it.
