Help menu causes ActiveX warning

lzrlzr Member Posts: 264
When using the questionmark and press it on the fields of a form the help text for that field pops up. But before the actual text pops up a warning arises asking something like "It may be unsecure to run this activex control together with the rest of the page" (I don't know the exact translation since I run Nav on a swedish computer.

Can anyone help me get rid off this? I have tried to enable everything I found in internet explorer but no luck.

    Hello,

This usually happens when you use the application from a network path.

Happened to me some times before, didn't find a way to make it work, but you could install the application localy in order to fully use the help.

You could also try copying the client directory from the cd to your program files and use it from there also (without installing)...

Hi! We had the same problem regarding one of our customers.

It seems that the CompNotesHtml.dll is not digital signed. Try to unregistrer this dll and see if it helps.

Thanks a lot, this worked on my computer. Will try it at our customers now.
