First Payroll for a month

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how to tell what the first payroll for a month is? Is it based on the Pay Cycle, and if so is it based on the start date/end date/ pay date?

The first payroll of the month is the first payroll for that employee for that calander month. If you are calculating the second payroll of the month for the company but the employee wasn't included in the first payroll this payroll will be the first payrool of the month for that empoyee.
