Dear All,
When I want to post salvage value from purchase invoice of a certain fixed assets, I would like to use FA location code that is selected in the FA card on tab posting in location field of the invoice but I can't because I don't find it there. It is ADM location.
I have showed all in the location but nothing succeeds.
Is the FA location type will affect the posting (the entries created by the system and balance in COA) ?
Or it is actually not used, so I can post from any location even blank. I expected your answer.tks in advance.
Rgds,
Mark

Dear Mark,
Fa location is totally different from the inventory location. Navision has only provided Fa location as a static field to identify where the asset is located and the information is not dynamic i.e. the info. is not relevant for the entries. Therefore there is no need of entring the fa location at the time of purchase invoice.CA Sandeep Singla
