well, my case is like densters'

i add my menu with dev.license but now i close navision, change dev.license file name to mydevlic.flf, open navision with cronus license (i cannot open database 'cause it's too big for this f**cking license), then CHANGE license to mine (mydevlic.flf) and open the database

nothing new happens... i cannot see my new menu ](*,)

    some ideas plz

As far as I know, Menu suite must have ID 90 (Company changes...)

Menu suites has kind of hierarchy levels...
On top is MBS = 10
Next is Country Specific = 30
Than you could have Addons menu = ~50
And than Changes that YOU make for Company = 90.

Maybe there is more levels between and I cann't remember a range for addons menus.

Well, there is a partner level as well.

a user should be able to read (not edit) all levels. Partners should always edit in (guess...) the partner level. End users in company level (this is the level you edit when you click Tools / Navigation Pane Designer).

So, no matter in which level you edit your menu, you should see it (as long as you add at least one item in a new menu).

    From Web wrote:
Microsoft Business Solutions provides a generic MenuSuite object, which we
call the MBS level. This object is changed in various ways before end users
see its content. These changes are applied at different levels, which are
categorized as Region, Country, Add-on, Partner and Company. For example,
the MenuSuite object is changed when the application undergoes localization
changes, which takes place at the Country level. If you are a developer
working at a Microsoft Business Solutions partner, you customize a
MenuSuite object at the Partner level. You can also configure a MenuSuite
object at the Company level, which is the level that administrators work on.

Hm... I can't find those range numbers but, if you can Save menu, obviously you have all permission for that :)

Anyhow, try to name it Company and give it different id.

There is a screen shot referred to by the text that Phenno submitted, it shows as follows

    10 MBS
    20 Region
    30 Country
    51 Add-on 1 -> 60 Add-on 10
    80 Partner
    90 Company

    ok thank you all

when running Navision with customer license we can see and work (NOT edit) with the menusuite. we made it in level 80 Partner... but when we open the database with our dev.license we can't "run" this menusuite...

today is monday, i can't understand anything... :?

menuitems do not appear if the object is not assigned in the license. try to run the object you are linking to, to see if it can run at all.
