Some interesting links on GP and AX

I was looking at partner source and looking at the products.
It looks like Dynamics GP 10 will be released same time Navision 5 is released. They've created a launch partal for GP Just like Navision.

So in the two years Navision only will be releasing 1 version and GP two versions.
Looking the Slides, they look so identical. The homepage for the user, the outlook integration, office ribbons, workflow. The customer couldn't tell them apart.
My guess the same thing will happen to Axapta.
So now that they have the same GUI,
In the next two years we'll see a lot of changes happening to the backend the table structures, programming languages, dev environment.

Looks like they've added capability to use .NET libraries in X++. The technoligy in Axapta is very interesting. If they just made the application (table structure) bussiness logic easier to follow, and cheaper, it would have overtaken Navision.
I don't think we'll see any Navision demo in there at least the development environment, because .NET developers will laugh at the Navision Development environment.
