Refreshing Sales Order Unit cost

In 3.70 is there a way to refresh the unit cost on a Sales order. When the sales order is created it takes a snapshot of the standard cost of the item. It may take a couple of months before the order is posted, but in the meantime standard cost can be adjusted. If I post the Sales order it will post the cost at the time the order was created instead of the current cost.

Without custom development isn’t possible. The problem is that you can manually change an item unit cost, so a feature like that would override all manually item prices.
But if you really what that feature, you can easily write a report that makes that requirement.0 -
If you purchased the developer's license, you can do that or modify codeunit 80 and update the cost as it posts.
If you just have the basic designer license, then you would need to write a process only report and remember to run it before you post.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
