Change Log not working

I am having an issue with the change log when connecting to Navision via citrix. When I try to change data on a table that is being logged I get an error that change log entry 0 already exists. If I connect to the same db and try to make the same change with navision client I don't get the error. Does anyone have any ideas on what the cure is for my issue?

correction:
The issue is not caused by citrix but happens with the Navision client as well.

I am connecting to the same server using the same userid. The only difference is the one connection is citrix connection and the other is Navision client. I even connected from the citrix server using the navision client and it works. But when i am connected via citrix I get the error.

Are you sure you use the same build of the Navision client?

Good question. I went to my citrix setup and got the program path from there. I then launched the client from that location. Just to make I checked and the build is the same.

The version is US 3.60 (4.0 SP2) and the build is 22100.

    For both?

I have the idea that the autoincrement-property of field T405:"Change Log Entry".F1:"Entry No." doesn't work on citrix.
    But why????

    I made a mistake earlier.
I was not connected to the server but a local copy of the db.
When I am connected to the server the change log isn't working. It doesn't matter if it is Citrix or Navision client.

I am testing an exe upgrade from 3.6 to 4.0 SP2.

I did look at the license and the granule 3080 change log is on the list. I tried to use the developers license and get the same result.

Delete all the entries from change log table. See if you still getting the error.

Found this as possible solution. The solution sounds good since the db was restored using 3.6 then opened in 4.0 SP2 client to upgrade. based on the date of the fin.exe in the client folder and the fin.exe in the hot fix the client was pre hot fix 17. I am open to suggestions other than create a back-up and restore again using post hot fix 17 client. db is 64gb and takes 2-3 days to restore.

    CAUSE

This issue is a result of an error in the way AutoIncrement is handled during restore.

    RESOLUTION

The error has been fixed in hotfix 17 (fin.exe) for Navision 3.60 and in the executables for Navision 3.70. You can either upgrade to the executables in hotfix 17 or upgrade to the 3.70 executables or to a later version of the executables. You can then restore the backup with the new executables.

Thanks to all for your help. I dataported the change log table data out then deleted the data then dataported the data back in. I was then able to make changes that are logged by the change log. The change log worked for both the citrix client and the Navision client.
