Implementing the "Apply Template" function in RIM

Step 4.4 of the RIM User Guide mentions that the "Apply Template" functionality can be added to master cards but did not go into any length on how to do so.

To use the "Apply Template" function, you can add the following code snippet to the OnPush trigger of the menu item:

Prerequisites:
Variables
a. Name: RecRef
Data type: RecordRef
b. Name: TemplateMgmt
Data type: Codeunit
Sub type: CU 8612 Template Management

Code:
RecRef.GETTABLE(Rec);
TemplateMgmt.UpdateFromTemplateSelection(RecRef);

This method matches the instruction in the user guide about creating a new record before applying the template.

    Hello,

    I tried this solution but, when I compile it, MBSNavision gives me next error: TableData 0 does not exist.

    What is the problem?

    Best wishes.

    I have solved my problem. I had created RecRef variable type Record... sorry for the stupid doubt.

    But I am reading the guide and I have other doubt: I don't know if I must only do it in Client Card Form or if I also must do it in Account Card (F_17), Vendedor Card (F_26), Item Card (F_30) and Contact Card (F_5050).

    Best wishes
