NAV/Navision Classic Client
We are trying to create a report that would list ONLY employees born in the month of September. What filter should we use on the field "Birthday"?
thanks

Is Birthday a Date Field?
0901..0930
{Edit - ya know I wasn't even thinking about the YEAR}
Doh! :-s
How About:
MonthName := FORMAT(Birthday,0,'<Month Text,3>');
Then you know MonthName = Jan, Feb, Mar, etc..etc
*take away the 3 for the whole name*
and you can filter on that

You cannot Filter on the Month unless you have a Month field, so on the report, use the CurrReport.Skip;
Use Number := DATE2DMY(Date, What);
IF DATE2DMY(WORKDATE,2)<>DATE2DMY(Birthday,2)THEN
CurrReport.SKIP;
I typed this the same time as Harry, so you have two options
