There is standard function for "clearing" standard DB in the 4.00SPx - check this - Administration - IT Administration - General Setup - Setup Checklist - Functions - Implementations - Data cleaning - Clean

Here is the go-live tool: http://www.mibuso.com/dlinfo.asp?FileID=580

You should review all tables that contain data by Ctrl+L and tick the ones you need to delete. Generally, *Entry*, *Document Dimension*, *Header*, *Line* is a good start but it's hard to define it 100%, so it's best to decide it in a 1-by-1 way. For example, maybe you want to keep Fixed Asset Ledger Entry if the book values are already posted in the master data migration phase.

Also, if you started by a demo database, be sure to delete all data related to granules you don't use, because you can get licence problems. For example, if you don't have Service granules but there are Service Ledger Entries in the demo database, and you keep it, and open the Item Card with the customer's licence, Nav will likely complain about rights.
