Bi Products & Scraps in Navision

Hi All,

Can any one please tell me that how to handle Bi Products in Navision.If Bi Products are at the two operations & scarp is at the one operation.

    u can use Product Families feature to define Joint/Bi products output

    Can't I make the bi products & the scrap as the part of my BOM and the quantity will be in negative.So that at the time of passing Consumption Journal I can pass the consumption of these Bi Product and increase the inventory of the Bi Product..

    Correct Me If I a wrong

    I think you don't have to do that because there is a field scrap % either in BOM or machine or work center.
    Do you create special items for scrap ? or the items or raw materials but it must have scrap ?
    You can define scrap and see their values by creating scrap location and when posting scrap and consumption, just post to the production location and using item reclass journal, move the scrap from production location or maybe just use transfer order.
