Hi
I have a problem when installing EP.
On the home site 4 errors are shown, all related with webparts:
The message is (4 times the same):
"Web Part Error: A Web Part or Web Forms Control on this Web Part Page cannot be displayed or imported because is is not registered on this site as safe"
Btw: First I had an install error ("web.config does not exit in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\."
I then copied another web.config to this path and the installation worked and the file has been changed (entries about msmq, etc.).
Any help will be appreciated

this can never (!!!) work.
As long as you have no "web.config" you have never ever extended this site for using SharePoint.
You have to extend the site BEFORE installing Employee Portal, otherwise
- the web parts can not be installed
- there are entries missing for the security (SharePoint has a very though CAS system)
- general Security settings are not updated
So:
1.) Run SharePoint Central Administration and extend the Default Web Site (which is the only one which has its root folder in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot)
2.) Install NOW Employee Portal
