Payroll Electronic W-2 submission

Hello. We have a customer that is currently using 2.6 and is required by the IRS to file W-2's electronically. Is this possible in 2.6? If so, can I get a little direction in how this is accomplished?

yes it is. you will want to use the W2 Magnetic Media (MMREF1) in the human resources and payroll documents section. you may need to update the process to comply. I have done this and comply with the accuwage reporting requirements set by the social security admin. let me know if you have any questions

there is a free program \:D/ available from SSA called AccuWage that will test the validity of the file Navision will generate. Make sure to use, will prevent you from headaches (others had) 8-[ .
