Backup Restore - Checksum Errors

For the past week or so, every backup I make with ExpandIT is corrupt. If I try to restore one, it aborts, reporting checksum errors.

Windows Server 2003
Navision 3.7
ExpandIT 2.1.403

What can be causing this? I've uninstalled/reinstalled ExpandIT. But subsequent backups are still corrupt.

I think ExpandIT is just a front-end for the standard backup procedure, therefore something must be wrong in your database. Do a full database test to a log file (under File menu, Database...). If it shows that some data are corrupted, Microsoft has a tool called C/DART that can maybe repair it. We requested it from them once when frequent power failures - and a low-budget client who couldn't be talked into buying UPSes - did some weird stuff to the database, f.e. summing up values in records returned wrong sums...

But you should also contact ExpandIT, just in case.

I am having the very same problem. I am working with expandit to try to figure out what is going on. There seems to be some problem in the timing of their scripting engine such that the checksum is not written correctly.
    What would Elvis do?
