Serial Nos in YYMMSrno Format

Hello everybody,
I want to add new Serial No. like this
YYMMSrNO.

YY- for year
MM-for Month
SrNo.- Auto increament serial no.

Is this facility already exists? or code exists for this which helps me generating custom serial no.?

You can define a No. Series like this: Starting Date: 060601; Last Date Used: 060630; Starting No: 0606-00001; Ending No.: 0606-99999
And you can assign it to the Serial Nos field of the Item.

I have 1 question again.

When month change the no. 0606-00001 will change automatically to 0607-000001 ? i.e. YYMM-Nos. (0607-000001)

it doesn' t change automatically, just if you define theese lines to the No. Series Line table, such as:
Starting Date: 060601; Last Date Used: 060630; Starting No: 0606-00001; Ending No.: 0606-99999
Starting Date: 060701; Last Date Used: 060731; Starting No: 0607-00001; Ending No.: 0607-99999
Starting Date: 060801; Last Date Used: 060830; Starting No: 0608-00001; Ending No.: 0608-99999
etc. (it takes about 5 mins/year)
and the NAV will automatically choose the right number.
